Inspired by maelicia's fic 'A Matter of Pride' To be found here if you didn't already know.

Specifically, it's this scene:

“Hm, my wig…?”

Nonchalantly, Saint-Just gave it to him in a stiff move. He was about to shut the door roughly, when Robespierre blocked it with his arm.

“May I have a mirror?” Robespierre attempted yet another nervous smile. "Please?"

Saint-Just gave a last blank look and wordlessly slammed the door shut.





Don't mind S-J's hair. He just got out of bed and it's all static-y. (Also, I can't draw)

My muses once demanded that I make the whole thing into a comic. I considered it, but then they started saying things like, "You know what would be funny? Make them all chibi! Nothing's funnier than chibi!angst - except maybe chibi!sex..." And I was like: o____O Noooooo...That may still happen. Make the muses stop it!

Well, it may be weird. Though chibi!angsty!sex still amuse me. But that was supposed to be a SRS fic!!!1!~ D: Well, not so much at first, but it always turns dramatic when they quarell. >.>

It'll be weird. I'm not sure I can maintain the SRS!!! level of the fic, though. It's likely going to end up humor. Chibifying makes anything funny. But they'll still be all angsty at the end, because obviously any comic would end the same way the fic does...

I've drawn several scenes already and teh SRS is so dead it's never going to be resurrected. Do not link people to this comic when giving them this fic to read if you want them to take it seriously.

In other news, in An II, the comment - made to Maxime - of "You're so forgetful, you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached!" would be cruel, cruel irony. No, this has nothing to do with the comic, it just occurred to me...

Sadly, it's not as funny during the sex scenes. Mostly because, well, they're having sex and you didn't put any dialogue in that. -_- They are having chibi!sex, but by the eighteenth naked chibi, you start forgetting that it's funny. But I've gotten through all the sex, and now there's just naked chibi angsting and screaming to contend with. If I keep making progress at this rate, I might be able to gift you with it by midweek. ^__^

I have been drawing side mini-comics as practice/stress relief, though, in the same style. One goes like this:

S-J: *bounces into room naked* Maxime, let's have sex!
M: *still fully clothed* But Antoine, I have a lot of work to do!
S-J: *droops* *sad face*
M: *sighs* Oh, all right.
S-J: *VICTORY!*

Any interest in seeing those as well? ^_^

ROTFL. Omsb, I soooooooooo want to see that. Liek, now. D: It reminds me most of the neverending crack/pr0n MSN conversations I have with zigsternenstaub where S-J is always wanting to have sex and Maxime tries to work. Because clearly S-J finishes his work in five minutes. XDD

p.s. I am also sorry for the lack of dialogue during the sex scene. It's just that, ah, I think the dialogue is much less eloquent at that point. And, um, being a SRS!person myself, I can't think of discussion during sex unlike NON-SRS!persons do (like Danton who probably LAWLs!!1!~ during sex).

First things first: YAY! NEW FIC! YAAAAAAAAY!

*cough* Now I can actually respond sanely and say thanks! ^^ (Actually, in the full sized version of this, the shirt is the only thing he's wearing - he just threw it on, so it's open in the front and all. Obviously, I chose to focus the picture on cute!Maxime instead, so you can't really see it. ^^ Also, excuse to draw foofy shirt! *cough* Will keep that in mind next time. ^^)
