Feb. 18th, 2005 04:59 pmToday was...interesting.
I started out getting an A+ on a math test. o_O First one this year...I mean, I don't do badly in that class, but getting a 100% on a test is new.
Next, I discovered a nearby celebration of the Chinese New Year by the local Chinese Cultural Club. Teachers were doing Tai Chi (badly - this was funny as all hell), people were being flipped over for a martial arts demo (I want a picture of my Bio teacher being flipped over. It was sweet!), dumplings and your-name-in-Chinese-calligraphy pages were being given away for free...
The cookies doubled in size at the place I usually stop by to get cookies. I normally just look and drool, but the cookies were TWICE as big! I had to get one. *shifty eyes* Don't tell anyone.
Then, to finish off a very strange day, while I was wandering around the school, an alarm rang. Not the fire alarm - the "Watch out, there's a mad axe murderer/guy with gun wandering around! Go into nearest room and hide!" alarm. I did so, and while everyone else was worrying, calmly played Solitare and being happy that I didn't have to go to my next period class yet. It was funny. Still don't know what happened - either someone was trying to kill himself, or perhaps someone else. Either way, the police had to get involved.
A very strange, but admittedly interesting day.
I promise to talk about something you may be interested in next time, okay? Enough of these personal posts. (about yesterday's painting class, by the way, I arrived and discovered that as our new model, we got Jasmine. Okay, not really Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin, but similar clothing, darker complexion, bit older...yeah, right. Know any Silm characters of that description? So, no luck. However, I didn't get into a fight with my mom. I'm happy!)
