PICS: "Tarts"

[livejournal.com profile] joisana gave me the keyword "tarts" to do a picture of Grantaire with.

Two things came from that. Neither of which are colored yet, both may be - the second DEFINITELY will - but I figured I ought to put it up already, as it's been sitting at my desk for a day or two already.

The two pictures can be described as 1, "what happens when you give the prompt 'tarts' to a rabid Alice in Wonderland fan" and 2, "what happens when a fan of Les Mis and of pastries starts thinking about the two in combination".

Yes, that's Grantaire running away with Courfeyrac's tart. And that's Combeferre and Enjolras having coffee in the foreground, with Enjolras saying to himself, "I was a royalist in a former life & this is my punishment. It's the only possible explaination."

Um. There is no excuse for the random cute pastry!chibis. They will be colored in and may become more cute as a result, for which I apologise. Hopefully other people think they're cute too, though, and not just me...

^_^ I'm glad you liked it!

As for the chibis:

Pie = Grantaire
Turnover = Joly
Danish = Feuilly (though he would prefer Poland)
Cookie = Combeferre
Sticky Bun = Bossuet/Lesgles
Brioche = Bahorel
Muffin = Jehan
Croissant = Courfeyrac
Eclair = Enjolras
Napoleon = Marius

It'll make more sense when colored in, I suspect. Do you have any prompts you'd like to see done..? *is searching for something to draw*

It was very cute. :D (And no doubt it will be even better in color!)

A lot of those make much more sense than I would have thought. I love Marius with the Napoleon. XD

Hm, you know what could be fun? A Republican calender with a seasonably appropriate member of the CSP, instead of the random allegorical girl, for each month. There's just the right number of them, after all...
