As usual, I'm procrastinating. And what does one do when procrastinating? In this case, write more vampire porn for the VC kink meme.

Posting here as usual.

For the entry "Lestat/Daniel, what happens AFTER the movie (Interview with a Vampire)."

Warnings: This is movie-verse, as per the request. I did not use book!Daniel, I used movie!Daniel. I used movie!Lestat. I used movie!chronology. Please keep this in mind while reading; you'll probably understand it better...also, this is NSFW. Please keep this in mind.

"So, uh. What do we do now?" Daniel said, sitting in the back seat and rubbing his neck. He'd tried to move to the front seat at one point. He'd gotten another set of bitemarks for his troubles - Lestat had gleefully said that he had a matching pair now, and that most people would pay for that privilege.
Daniel had made the mistake of asking why. Apparently if was because "most people don't live long enough to get more than one."
He'd gotten the hint pretty fast.
Unfortunately, his reporter training - well, his reporter instincts, anyway - wouldn't let him keep his mouth shut. He kinda hoped that Lestat would read THAT thought and not kill him.
"Now? Precisely you'd expect, of course!" Lestat replied, focusing on driving, though in Daniel's opinion it was better described as 'focusing on weaving through the crowd at the highest speed possible'. It had bugged him in the beginning, but he was starting to get used to it.
They zoomed from one lane to the next, then back again, in about five seconds, and Daniel winced a bit, and felt for the thousandth time to make sure his seat belt was in place. Perhaps he wasn't entirely used to it. Not any more than he was used to actually seeing Lestat jedi-mind-trick any cops that came after them.
Then he thought about what Lestat had said.
"What I'd expect?" Daniel said, a bit startled. He thought about what he'd heard from Louis - both the first time and the second, because Lestat had been playing the tapes pretty regularly (except when he turned it off and yelled what Daniel took to be old French obscenities at Louis, which was pretty often) - and to be honest he was at a completely loss.
Lestat looked at him, and his lips curved up to reveal his sharply pointed teeth. "Tell you what, Daniel." He purred. "You be a good boy and tell me what it is that I'm planning on doing now, and I'll consider letting you live at the end of this."
Daniel licked his dry lips. "But you've let me live the last two times..." he gestured at his throat. They’d been rather painful, both times. Nothing like he’d expected. Nothing like what Louis said. "That means you don't want to kill me."
Lestat's smile widened. "Haven't you been listening to our...dear mutual friend ramble on?" he asked, nodding to the tape, which was currently muted in favor of 'Sunglasses at Night'. "Unlike Louis, I DO like to play with my food first."
Daniel considered this for a second.
"Um. Good point. But still, wouldn't it-"
Lestat abruptly turned the steering wheel sideways, cutting Daniel's words off as the car tires shrieked in agony as they skid across the surface of the street. The car actually lifted two wheels off the surface of the road for a while, and Daniel clung to the side of the seat, biting his lip and hoping that when the car flipped his death would be quick. Lestat had thrown his head back and was laughing delightedly.
They did, however, make the highway exit.
Lestat turned down a small street and skid to a stop in a dim parking lot, looking pleased with himself, then looked back at Daniel.
Daniel unglued himself from the car door, and looked back at Lestat. He felt something wet on his lips, and reached up to wipe it away.
Abruptly - at least to his human senses - Lestat was in the back seat, holding his hand. Lestat wasn't squeezing his hand in any way, but Daniel could still feel the strength of the vampire's grip.
"What?" he said, trying to sound fearless.
From the look of amusement on Lestat's face, it wasn't succeeding much. The vampire leaned forward and caught Daniel's face in his other hand.
"Come on, Daniel." he said with amusement. "You're a reporter. You're not supposed to need to have it fed to you. Tell me what I'm going to do now."
"How am I supposed to know?" Daniel said challengingly. "I don't read minds."
"But you'd like to." Lestat shot back.
"Well..."
Lestat smirked. "Tell you what. If you succeed in telling me where I'm going, what I'm going to do when I get there, and why, I'll show you what becoming a vampire feels like."
Daniel straightened in his seat. To become a vampire! His newest dream. And all he had to do was figure out what went on in one incredibly mysterious vampire's mind.
Lestat grinned, probably in response to that thought. "Well, Daniel? I'll give you a prize for each correct answer you get."
"You're heading uptown." Daniel hazarded, having noticed the road they were on.
Lestat looked a bit affronted, but considered it. "Technically true, I suppose." he finally conceded. "But not good enough. Enough nonsense, Daniel. You know your prize. If you don't succeed, you're not nearly as interesting as I had thought, and I'll simply kill you and leave your body here - give the local police a little mystery to work out, hmm?"
Daniel swallowed, and thought hard. What would Lestat do, now that he had risen from his second grave? Explore the city? Re-accustom himself to human life? Gorge himself on blood, the way Louis had described him doing so often...?
Wait.
Louis was his only source for hints, so to Louis he must go for the answer. Lestat had returned from a second death before, Louis had said. After Claudia's little trick, Lestat had returned, gaunt and green and corpse-like, to haunt his two children. It was his first action, before anything else. Even before feeding himself, even before strengthening himself enough to adequately meet their challenge.
Daniel grinned.
Lestat raised an eyebrow.
"You're going to see Louis." he said firmly.
Lestat sniffed. "Well, yes. Really, was that so hard...?"
Then he pulled Daniel closer and kissed him. For a second, Daniel was utterly stunned; Lestat caught his head in both hands and pulled him closer, sliding his cold tongue into Daniel's hot mouth by sheer force - Daniel couldn't have resisted even if he wanted to. He didn't want to, though. Lestat's body was pressing up against his own - it was hard, harder than he thought. Like marble, to be sure, but even stronger than that. Like that fleeting impression he had had of Louis, when Louis had held him up. Strong and cold, but still in its own way full of activity; full of life. Daniel's life. Daniel's blood animated that body. Daniel moaned, and tried to press back. But before Daniel could properly respond - and wouldn't anyone, if someone like Lestat was kissing them? - Lestat pulled away and was sitting in his seat as if nothing had happened.
"...what...?"
"You bit your lip earlier." Lestat said primly, then smiled darkly, revealing the blood still staining his teeth - not to mention the way his tongue slowly slid out his mouth to lap up what was left, cleaning every last tooth with seductive precision. "I was just...helping."
Daniel swallowed hard, and tried to make his erection go away just by willing it. His body very firmly ignored him.
"Well, Daniel?" Lestat said pointedly.
Right. He'd nearly forgotten - he had two more questions to answer. What was Lestat going to do there, and why.
Damn, now they were getting into hard territory – no pun intended. Lestat could be going to get revenge on Louis, either for his first burning or Louis' later abandonment of him. Or...Daniel didn't know what. But he didn't think that answer was right.
His body reminded him of the possibility of getting another kiss as he thought about it, and he bit his lip in an effort to distract himself.
This had precisely the opposite effect, as Lestat apparently decided at that moment that Daniel could think just as well in his lap as anywhere else in the car. Daniel found himself, before he knew that he had moved, straddling Lestat's lap. Lestat looked at him with a smirk. "You shouldn't bite your lip, Daniel." he purred, and pulled him closer for another kiss.
This time Daniel opened his mouth willing, pushing himself forward in a vain attempt to relieve the pressure that was building in his groin. Lestat kissed him, first on the mouth, then the cheek, then down to the neck. It felt good. Far too good. Daniel felt wild with desire, his body both heavy and too warm; he felt as if he was a teenager again, touching his first girl in the back of the school and finding out what the feeling of another person was like for the first time all over again.
"Well, Daniel...?" Lestat whispered from his neck, and Daniel felt a tongue moisten his neck. Right over his jugular vein, too; he could feel the pressure.
"You're going to see Louis..." Daniel managed to say, licking his dry lips and panting, "To...talk to him."
"Talk to him? About what?"
"About everything. About the last century. About what happened..."
"Are you sure about that?"
Daniel felt the pressure on his neck increase. Teeth, now; hard and cold and unyielding. They didn't press in yet.
"Yeah." Daniel said. "You need to talk to him. Because that's the only way you can get him back."
"Why would I want him back?" Lestat whispered, the artificial breath emerging from his lungs to make words making the little hairs on his neck stand up. Daniel shivered. "He whines. He never wants to have any fun. Maybe I'm going to see him to revenge myself."
"You don't want revenge." Daniel said firmly, sure of himself now. "You want his company again. You want the last century back, and the only way you can get that is if you have Louis by your side again. That’s what you’re going to do there. You’re going to try to get Louis back."
"Good answer." Lestat replied.
That was the only warning Daniel got before Lestat's teeth sank into his neck. Daniel jerked forward, whimpering; this sudden new pleasure was too much, it felt good - painful, a sharp stinging pain, but it was drowned in the pleasure he felt. He felt himself come closer and closer to the edge - god he was going to come in his pants like a teenager - he could feel it, just a second away, he pushed his body forward and was just about to-
Lestat pulled away. Daniel moaned in frustration.
"You have one more answer to give." Lestat said. "You've been avoiding that one. You don't know it. Tell me why I'm doing this. It's not to regain the last century, no; nothing like any of the guesses that you sneaked into your last answer."
Daniel opened his mouth to reply, but he forgot what he was going to say when Lestat pulled him down, twisting him in a too-fast movement until he was sitting in Lestat's lap, facing away from the vampire. Lestat caught his chin in one hand and pulled his head back, licking up what blood there was still on his neck. His tongue was cold.
His hand was colder, though, undoing Daniel's jeans in a quick motion and revealing his erection to the cool night air.
"I can't think like this..." Daniel whimpered.
"Too bad." Lestat laughed, and wrapped his hand right where Daniel wanted him. To have his most delicate organ in a hand strong enough to rip cars to pieces if its owner so desired - it made Daniel twitch just thinking about it. He felt terror and desire in equal measures, and that inflamed his body even more.
"Tell me why I'm going to see Louis, Daniel." Lestat said, starting to move his hand, stroking far more gently than Daniel would have thought. Then he realised why - at the rate the vampire was moving, he wasn't going to reach his peak. Not until he answered the question...
"Tell me, Daniel. You can do it..." Lestat hissed in his ear.
"You're going because you want to settle things."
"No."
"Because you want your old way of life back."
"No."
"Because..."
Lestat's hand was moving faster and faster as Daniel was guessing. Daniel was panting, spreading his legs as far as they could go. He would thrust into Lestat's hand, but the vampire's other hand kept him pinned where he was. He could feel Lestat's lap through his jeans, the cold, quiescent organ still hard as though made of ice and marble.
"Because..."
He felt Lestat's lips at his throat again, felt his cold tongue and his cold fingers at his hip and on his straining erection. Louis' voice echoed in the background - the tape must have turned on again...
Suddenly Daniel understood. He didn't know why, but he understood.
"You're doing this because you love him." he whispered, and felt Lestat's teeth enter his neck, felt Lestat's hand move faster and faster, felt himself come as hard as he had ever come before in his life. He saw blinding white behind his eyelids. The pleasure was immense. It hit him almost suddenly, stronger than he'd expected. He'd never felt so good, so high, so perfect before in his life. Never.
He opened his eyes again a few minutes later, brain still fuzzy from the afterglow. He was in the backseat again, buckled in. His jeans were neatly buttoned up again but with evidence of what had just happened all over them. Lestat was back in the driver's seat, pulling out of the parking lot he'd led them into.
"Lestat...?" Daniel asked, confused, but still languid.
"Yes?" Lestat replied. The vampire seemed to have gone back to mostly ignoring him, oddly enough; choosing to concentrate on his driving instead.
"I got it right, didn't I?"
Lestat hesitated, then regained his normal confidence and smirked. "You're alive, aren't you? There’s your answer."
"Yeah...but you said..."
"What did I say?"
"You said you'd show me what it was like. What becoming a vampire felt like. What being a vampire is like. You said you'd..." Turn me.
Lestat just turned and looked at him, an expression of arch amusement on his face. "Daniel." He said softly, with a more tender tone than he had thus far used in referring to the human. "You're right. I told you I'd show you what becoming a vampire felt like."
"Yes..." Daniel replied, confused.
Lestat smiled, baring fangs.
"I just did."
