Aug. 14th, 2008 09:25 pmToday was...busy. In the morning I had a haircut (which is one of my issues, for some reason - it makes me freak out to get my hair cut, so that was highly unpleasant), then went home. I managed to turn my computer on, then was called out of the room for an hour, then was sent back into the room with instructions to turn the computer off because we were leaving. -_-;; On the bright side, the last bit of the day was spent in a bookstore. ^_____^
I do have an important question, though - I seem to have finally finished the Mucha!ABC pictures, which I am quite proud of. ^^ The only question now, though, is how to post them? There are several options, each with pros and cons...people, please give advice! ^^
Option 1: Post one picture per post until I get some comments/make sure people have actually seen it. This one is appealing because I really like comments and people tend not to make comments on each picture if you post them all together. Unfortunately, this takes time, though luckily there are only 9 or so pictures.
Option 2: Post them all in one huge post. Problems: fewer comments as people will be less likely to comment on a specific picture or on specific aspects of a picture they like if they see a huge amount of them, freaking huge post. Pros: will go very quickly.
Option 3: Post several per post, as with the comic - two or three ABCs per post. That takes care of the quickness issue, but the "fewer comments" issue is still there.
Also, what order to put them in? By order of what was sketched first, colored first, in order of quality? If the last, from better to worst or worst to better..?
And, lastly, a different question: Do people want to see the sketches as well as the finished ones? I was originally planning on it because the sketches came out quite nicely and I'm always somewhat worried that my coloring kills the prettiness of the sketches, but now I'm not so sure - it might make the post too busy, or take away from the finished picture. Maybe I should do a seperate post later on, after all the ABCs are posted, with the sketches...? I don't know.
